Very excited to try this bad boy. Green pepper and pencils shavings on the nose. Nice smooth tannins. Long legs. Long 30 second finish. Will go great with dinner - king crab and beef tenderloin. — 11 years ago
Oh boy! After steak wine. Pax killed it! Surprised it was so ready after 4 1/2 years in oak. Fill throttle and so nicely balanced. Will be very interesting to see how this continues to evolve. — 9 years ago

What a beauty! Creamy, defined and rich. Perfumy with flowers, mint, sweet apples, minerality and very concentrated honest power. Acidity is angular, very bright and holds this huge palate together nicely (and oh boy, I wish I had a time machine to see how it evolves in 10 years). I'm still trying to crack that dominant aftertaste note — it's almost cake-like sweet, with some nutty backbone and caramel on the top. Absolutely in love. — 10 years ago
