Pomar Junction Vineyard

El Pomar District Sangiovese 2013

An excellent lighter red, full of smooth bright berry flavors with a mildly spicy bite to the finish. An excellent food wine, it paired wonderfully with kale, chicken sausage, and onion pizza with a side of garbanzo beans and a sweet kale/Brussels sprout chopped salad. Bellissimo! — 10 years ago

Fiesta del Pomar Junction Red Blend 2010

Excellent red blend that has a complex, sweet and satisfying taste. Slightly spicy but enough to make it enjoyable and not overbearing. Highly recommended! — 10 years ago

Love Thunderbolt but hard to find. I got this one from the T&T wine club. — 12 years ago

Paso Robles Syrah 2011

This 2011 Syrah was a gift from our friends and we loved it! It was ripe, dark and potent on the nose. Opened up so nicely with hints of plum, balanced oak, and rich tannins. It had a pretty lengthy finish and enough complexity to really grab my attention :) — 10 years ago

El Pomar Vineyard Viognier 2013

Creamy and lightly citric, this wine stood up to everything I could throw at it: smoked turkey leg, crab cakes, steamed artichokes, green salad, seeded baguette with Camembert cheese, seared tuna, and fried green tomatoes. Versatile and flexible, it has a splash of residual sugar with a pleasant slightly bitter finish. — 11 years ago
