Tenuta Col d'Orcia

Poggio al Vento Riserva Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2015

One of the best Italian wines I've had recently. Deep, juicy cherry and plum notes dominate. Well-rounded, elegant. Great with some chocolate or a lighter pasta dish with lean meat. — 8 months ago

dark fruits...resting on a leather chair in an old reading room with a cigar box ~ palate starts juicy then goes characteristically dry for the vintage but falls short in length — 10 years ago

Mille e Una Notte Nero d'Avola 2020

Vintage 2020 | 12 m barrel aging, nero d’avola, syrah and petit verdot. Cedar, brushwood, sour plum, much character but to my taste a bit rough. I prefer Tancredi. — 5 months ago

Poggio San Polo

Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2013

The 2013 vintage enjoyed Classic cool weather, and the 2013 San Polo reveals what old time Brunellos were like prior to global warming. It is medium bodied, colorful, with persistent fruit and underbrush aromatics; flavorsome, balanced, crisp and energetic with refined tannins. Lovely wine. — 7 months ago

Work has been hectic. Needed some me time tonight. F it (or no, F is also very good, but in this case I "I" 'd it. I I'd it. Id it? Oh F it you know what I mean!!!) Orin Swift letter (location) bottles are some of the best value bottles out there. Italy doesn't disappoint - $16 well-spent. Other me time highlights tonight: sushi, massage w/ a focus on occipitalis (oh yes....), my new fav JT jam on the radio, and being giddy about Chelsea's new Netflix show premier tonight. Oh, and this post was brought to you by the letter I — 9 years ago

Do u like her too? She is hysterical. Loved Chris Martin's performance, loved the monologue, was a little segmented thereafter, but I'm sure she will get in her groove. I thought the Cheslea Does shows were solid

She is hysterical . I tend to agree with you. A little more insight. I thought Chris Martin's performance was excellent...think Drew saved it at the end. It felt a little lost to me. I'll report back after watching the second episode later today.
