This is the Riserva! Despite the hype by the staff of K & L wines this is a reasonable Brunello but not a must have although at less than 30$ it is impressive. Turns already brown in color. Limited cherry notes green tea and quite spicy touch of 🍎 red apple. Quite soft. Day two. Changed my mind now the wine really shines. At first, this wine seemed slightly over the hill. Not sure if it was pairing with food, some aeration or the alcohol (in my head) that let this wine blossom in the glass. This wine sings after 30 minutes. Somewhat soft and round with lots of structure and backbone making a for a great balanced wine. — 5 years ago

Thanks to my brother for this. Held onto it for a while. It was terrific. Red- brown, syrupy cherry, tar, earth, and a touch of menthol. Tannins in control, good finish. Enjoyed it with some homemade pasta and bolognese. — 4 years ago
