Love this. Tart and flowery maybe? — 10 years ago
Wine showed great, fresh, not fully mature classic bussia clay terroir
Fruit had blue notes, not as red as Aldo conterno nor as big framed as Clerico — 12 years ago
Delicious... no big raisin component, but not anaerobic like the Conterno. This is nice balanced Barolo. — 8 years ago
Really strong Barolo from 2004. Nice red fruit on the nose and palate. Smooth but with a great acidity. Served with porterhouse, roasted mushrooms, and mashed potatoes. — 8 years ago
Definitely in its prime. Renewing my faith in zachy's auction bottles after that last aldo conterno — 10 years ago
A very young but approachable Barbaresco. No oak in sight but I do feel rotofermentors. Reminded me of Aldo Conterno a little. — 10 years ago
Always enjoy the 2000 Barolos. This is drinking well. Prune, cherries, elegance and well balanced. — 10 years ago
Lovely Barolo. Fully mature. — 11 years ago

Not sure anyone thinks to age Dolcetto but perhaps we should. This was very good - had the color and elegance of an old Nebbiolo. A great find in the basement of Ladue Market. — 8 years ago
