This one seriously needs to breathe, but after an hour or more it's solid. Strong and earthy, leather. Funky too early though! — 10 years ago

v nice wine. perfect with meat. — 10 years ago
B/b+ strawberries and alcohol on the nose. On the palate fruit, dry, medium tannins and medium to full body. Lots of character and medium tannins. Slight leather. Very interesting from Croatia. When chilled at cellar temp it's more like a zin with plenty of fruit in the palate and peppery finish. Would buy again — 10 years ago

Plavac Mali, reportedly the Croatian equivalent of zinfandel... nonetheless, easy-drinking and earthy and downright lovely. — 8 years ago
