2017 Vintage. 16.1% Alcohol. While watching Scott and Viquel’s video review of the latest releases, Gail wanted some wine so I stopped it to get this baby. Enjoyed while watching the rest although Le Devoir was the earlier release. Interesting to have a blend of 76% Syrah and 24% Graciano. Nice fruit but we’ll try to cellar these a bit. — 4 years ago

The upper class of Morgon. My guilty pleasure! Dense and deep fruity. Rich and nuanced aromatic range. A pleasure wine accessible now that will age in a Burgundy style within 5-8 years .. the distance between the two being the point of balance that fascinates my taste buds the most.

Always as much pleasure, with Foillard wines. 2016 is perfectly to my taste. Between the juicy crunch of youth, and the more aerial floral character that the Morgons develop as they age. A juice that pinote with truffled and undergrowth notes. Delight of finesse.

Tasted at the producer, this is a primeur / pleasure to drink young vintage. 100% Cabernet-Franc. Light purple color, clear and limpid. Raspberry and herbaceous nose. Supple mouth blending raspberry, notes of cedar, cypress.
Slightly acidity, but the typical Touraine mineral structure, reminiscent of slate, pencil lead, or charcoal, bringing a refreshing salivating tension. On salads, aperitif-dinners, cold meats, cheese pastas, it's easy to drink, and pleasant.

Goûté chez le producteur, c’est une cuvée primeur/plaisir à boire jeune. 100% Cabernet-Franc. Robe pourpre légère, claire et limpide. Nez framboise et herbacé. Bouche souple mêlant, framboise, notes de cèdres, cyprès.
Acidité peu marquée mais la trame minérales typique de la Touraine, évoquant l’ardoise, la mine de crayon, ou le charbon, apportant une tension salivante rafraîchissante. Sur des salades, apéro-dînatoire, charcuterie, pastas fromage, c’est facile à boire, et plaisant. — 4 years ago

Bon mes attentes étaient quand meme éleve, dans mon CellarTracker c’était indiqué 2005, je voulais me faire plaisir mais en enlevant la capsule je remarque l’inscription 2003! Bon sang, le producteur s’est trompé de bouchon... mais non l’acheteur c’est trompé de millésisme qui est timidement indiqué à l’endos de la bouteille. Somme tout, la bouteille était tres agréable, on reconnaissait la chauffe du millésisme, la prune, les fruits cuits. Rien de comparable à un 2005 bu il y a deca quelques années déjà! Helas! Il m’en reste une autre que j’ouvrirai tres bientot probablement à l’automne avec un bon plat mijoté — 5 years ago

One of the beautiful value for money that we like to rediscover. A fairly straight syrah, "natural", the fruit is honoured with the typical notes of the grape variety in a over-vitamin version, Morocco's sun obliges. A slight woody note testifies to the beautiful mastery of winemaking and brings a distinguished touch to the whole. As often with this type of wine, you have to wait 3/5 years of ageing for the alcoholic ardour to act. 2017 just finds its equilbre, and could still win with 2 years of cellar

Un des beaux rapport/prix plaisir qu’on aime redécouvrir. Une syrah assez droite et « nature » le fruit est à l’honneur avec les notes typique du cépage dans une version sur-vitaminée, soleil du Maroc oblige. Une légère note boisée témoigne de la belle maîtrise de vinification et apporte une touche distingué à l’ensemble. Comme souvent avec ce type de vin, il faut attendre 3/5 ans de garde pour que l’ardeur alcooleuse s’assagisse. 2017 trouve juste son equilbre, et pourrait encore gagner avec 2 ans de cave — 4 years ago

Note : Excellent Valentina Arvine. Always a pleasure to enjoy and goes perfectly for the aperitif as a dish made from fish or even cheese. A golden robe with a nose of freshness, white flowers and citrus. In the mouth, a nice balance on lemon and apricot, a length of almond and a delicious finish.

Excellente Arvine de Valentina. Toujours un plaisir à déguster et va parfaitement pour l’apéritif comme un plat à base de poisson ou même du fromage.
Une robe dorée avec un nez de fraicheur, fleurs blanches et d’agrumes. En bouche, un bel équilibre sur le citron et abricot, une longueur d’amande et un final délicieux.
