Solid Syrah and a definite go to wine for any dinner pairing. Fruit forward and paired well with a pesto pizza with grilled chicken and arugula. — 9 years ago

Delicious and funky. Co-fermentation gives it a lovely combined feeling with a delicious richness full mouth feel and lightly bitter critic acidity. I had it with a pork and it was 10/10 — 10 years ago
Excited to drink with our Pizza Port pizza tonight! — 10 years ago
A true classic, first ever IPA brewed in San Diego, my all time favorite place for IPA's holds up pretty well after 20 plus years, nice citrus and tropical notes, less of course than current IPA's, but overall solid IPA, and as I said it is a classic, if you in SD, and are a beer Geek, it is a must to try, esp on tap, have a growler filled up right now, excellent brew — 10 years ago
This starts out with a tight knit nose of red fruit, mint, and a hint of woodsmoke. Later, aromas intensified into darker red fruit. Flavors offer up dark reds, licorice, spice, silky tannin, and a spear of acidity. Paired awesome with tonite's pizza. One more bottle left but will need more for sure. — 11 years ago
Trains wine! Raspberry followed by currant with a hint of spice. Clean smooth finish- paired with homemade pizza very well. — 12 years ago
2009 was better, but the 2010 is good as well. The port was excellent as well. — 13 years ago

This is in your face West Coast IPA, here on the west coast we honor and cherish this beers, these are the ones that started the DIPA beers, this brewery in fact was one of the first, West coast IPA's San Diego brewery, multiple locations, Associated with Port brewery and Lost Abbey, big hops, big malts, we still crave and need these beers, when everyone else is going to the tame and mellow DIPA's it is very good to see this brewery remaining true to what they do, Just Like Stone brewery, in cans, big plus, stays fresher longer, All IPA's and DIPA's should be in cans, Excellent DIPA, in the style, West Coast all the way, no mistake of that — 9 years ago
Just an incredible wine. Perfect with pizza but also a great red for just drinking. Need to get some more on our next visit. — 10 years ago

A nice Okanagan port. Sweet, but not overpowering, very nice for dessert after a nice seafood dinner. — 12 years ago

Its older than me. Full of flavour. — 9 years ago
This is crazy good. Strawberry preserves and apple butter on the nose, a refreshing burst of acidity up front and a butterscotch pudding finish that goes on forever. — 9 years ago
Pizza red blend. Great cheap Wednesday night wine! — 10 years ago
Lovely and smooth. Just had it with a spicy chorizo pizza watching The Island with Bear Grylls. Wine better than food and TV. 👍 — 10 years ago

Finally starting to mellow a bit. Lovely, and playing the role of a 20yr port this evening. — 10 years ago
Dry and good with pizza — 11 years ago
Thank you Bill Steele for this gift. I am not an expert when it comes to Port. But this Texas Tawny was the perfect ending to a pizza/wine evening. It started a bit raisiny, but opened into a caramel syrup that lingered for minutes. Would be shocked if Delectable has this in their database. Only way to get it is by knowing Mr. Fuqua (a Dallas garage wine creator). Cheers! — 12 years ago

This was our aperitif for Christmas dinner. Absolutely wonderful. And it makes a nice after dinner cocktail with a splash of Port. EDIT: And it made wonderful mimosas the next morning. — 8 years ago
