Vintage 2007 - I do like évery wine of La Tunella, and this one is very good indeed! It has a very complex smell with cedar, leather, chocolate and lots of cherries. A very smooth taste, no tannins that are disturbing, a touch of sweet thanks to lots of sunshine, powerfull. It's a great example what a winemaker can do with original grapes. 50% pignolo, 50% schopettino #friuli #pignolo #schopetinno #loveit — 7 years ago
Blackberry, cherry on the nose, berry and plum flavors on the palate, medium acidity, full body — 8 years ago
Breg Rosso 2004, 100% Pignolo grape. Earthy, funky, and awesome. Thank you @Federico Mondello — 9 years ago
2009 vintage. Floral notes, dark fruit, cola and a bit of earth with pleasantly grippy tannins. Opened up nicely. Just enough funk to keep it interesting — 9 years ago
Still good a year later — 9 years ago
Salted black licorice and craziness. — 10 years ago

Perfect Fruilan for our Easter lamb! — 7 years ago
On list as pignolo unclear what the blend was. Excellent. Floral and intoxicatingly bright with reasonable structure and long finish. Got better and better in the glass. — 7 years ago

I don't know if the one I had a month ago was better, but that when I rated a 9.2 and this one I rate an 8.9. Same year different bottle. — 9 years ago
Gorgeous wine, thick and smooth. 15 years show nothing but elegance and amazing balance, deep and complex: leathery tones, rhubarb finish. — 10 years ago

Pignolo, this is my first time. It is recommended after terribly good algianico. But it has enough capability to follow it. A bit sweet but black fruits aroma, black cherry, black currant after stabilized @2800, XPiccola, 170908 — 7 years ago
