Zoiks, that's a beauty of a Dolcetto. Rich, balanced, and elegant in a rustic Dolcetto-y kinda way. Pure, expressive fruit. — 12 years ago
Imported by Kobrand. From Piero Incisa della Rochetta, grandson and heir apparent to the founder of Tenuta San Guido, of Sassicaia fame. He fell in love with a Patagonian Pinot Noir at a tasting in New York, traveled to the Argentina and discovered two abandoned Pinot vineyards from 1932 and 1955. This wine blends those two and one more recently planted vineyard. Pinot from the desert. — 13 years ago
Etna Bianco comparative wine study. Single vineyard: Milo. 3300ft ASL. Aged in large neutral french oak. 2010 was an amazing vintage for most of Italy, and Federico Curtaz gets Etna fruit. (A Winebow import, I should claim.) — 11 years ago
