Amazingly acidic, great body. Like an apple jolly rancher — 2 years ago
A friend said he would bring a Peter Michael red,so I thought it would be fun to bring a white.
The opening nose is predominantly citrus and jasmine, not the ripe stone fruits I was expecting. Golden apple, pear, roasted nuts, and hint of brioche followed as it opened up in the glass. Viscous but not heavy on the palate with well judged acidity. Beautiful balance between richness and delicacy. Long mineral driven finish.

Vino blanco seco, con acidez y alcohol mes-alto, notas minerales y herbáceas. Aromas a toronja rosada y albaricoque. — 7 years ago
Too harsh after opening; leather and dark olives. Next day cleared! Cherries and plums in balance with light oak. — 7 years ago
Dark and strong! Delicious! — 8 years ago

Ruby color, slight purple edges, with aromas of red fruits, forest floor, floral and smoky spice, aged in 50% new French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with cedar notes, tea, cola, black pepper, cinnamon spice and earthy herbs, very complex. Full-bodied, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and a spicy earthy character. Needs more bottle time, will age well! Pair this with a grilled salmon or maple glazed pork chop! — 8 months ago
A blend of 90% Sauv Blanc and 10% Semillon. Pale yellow color with aromas of citrus, floral, wet stone and tropical fruit. On the palate rich fruits of mango and peach flavors with citrus zest and earthy mineral notes on a balanced structure with lively fresh acidity. Long finish, pleasant ending with pronounced mineral character. Leave this in the cellar for a few years. Nice. Tasting Sample. — a year ago
My first Lauer GG, this is everything I love about his wines compacted like a crushed car into something so dense as to be almost unknowable. Would be curious to know how these drink decades beyond. — 5 years ago
Amazing crisp green apple flavor. Don't serve too cold otherwise you lose the fruit. — 7 years ago
Some Rieslings are too sweet. This one isn't. It's great!

A great easy drinking favorite it makes a great tapas with friends. It's never a choice when it's a choice. — 9 years ago
Very good Barossa Semillon. Giving the Hunter a run for its money. Lighter style with good acid and no flab. Enough structure not to need SB. I suspect its best years are still to come. — 10 years ago
2019. Restrained aromas with a hint of petrol, but once in the mouth it’s all citrus and stone fruit flavors. Delicious! A little more sweetness than I expected, but it worked great when paired with the Vietnamese marinated pork tenderloins we made for dinner. — 9 months ago

That is my favorite from the tasting. High elevation vineyards at 1800-2000 feet. Kermit tasting. — 7 years ago

2007 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay. HB w MnD and J&D B. We loved this wine wine so much at the Heart concert and we loved it tonight. Floral, along with notes of buttery brioche and oak. However, somewhat surprisingly, as we drank this in comp to the 2013 Ridge Monte Bello Chardonnay, it did not win out. Still such a great wine that we really, really enjoyed. — 8 years ago
Still in good shape which is no easy task for a 2004 California Chard — 8 years ago
