“... aromas of ripe forelle pears, white peaches, and buckwheat honey along with fleeting suggestions of linden flowers, lavender, and freshly sliced poblano peppers as the nose evolves in the glass.
“On the palate, the wine is a rounder and fuller counterpoint to racy Sancerre, with briny, sea salt-seasoned flavors of fresh pineapple, Meyer lemon, and ruby grapefruit interwoven with firmly hewn salty silex minerality.” — Moore Brothers Wine Co., Brooklyn — 5 years ago

She snagged me unknowingly from behind spinning spices from both far and near barely dressed in burgundy satin and a slightly nasty soft silk which I feel, inhale, turning her my way, her eyes engage pulling me in close, then closer her lips on mine she drips then slowly touches, thoroughly seducing as her silk clings, clutches as her blueberry essence goes red - the music changes a note, then a riff, and then she dives her fingers gingerly wave reminding me to have another hit... — 9 years ago

I love this wine. Leather, soil, cocoa, prune, touch of smoke, black tea, some cherry and cranberry, full of Nebbiolo tar & dried roses. Silky but with lush tannins. From Moore Bros. in Industry City. — 6 years ago

Our friends brought this wine to a group dinner at Yve's Bistro. I have a few of their bottlings and enjoy them all. — 8 years ago
Very good Bordeaux, but the notes by Moore Bros were the most accurate I've ever come across. "...complex, exotic aromas that open with griotte cherries, ripe cassis, fresh fennel, crushed violets, and sweet herbs; adding dried figs, dark cocoa, and flecks of pencil shavings as the nose evolves...". Well, I missed the figs but otherwise, yes! And in that order. Remarkable. — 8 years ago
