Tasted this wine on the last day of our Sicily trip. With lamb chops. Absolutely amazing. Good body, red fruits, spicy, rich but nicely smooth tannins. Loved it. — 5 years ago
Super tasty midrange Nero blend. Retains the sparkly minerals from the Nero, but benefits from the added ripe fruit-ness of the perricone. Maybe a slight slight slight nudge to the sweeter side on the spectrum, but very smooth and drinkable. — 6 years ago
The highlight of a star studded night, an elusive and limited blend of Perricone/Nero D'Avola 66/33, this bad boy had me swimming in dark red tartarian cherry and velvety tannins, perfect with local Etna involtino #ensconced #thanksBT — 8 years ago

Maybe it's the Perricone blended in but this Nero d'Avola is really tasty. With food or without---great aroma and comfortable, warm finish. Delightful! — 8 years ago
