Love it for a Chardonnay. Crisp, not oaky, mildly buttery. — 7 years ago
Lovely and crisp! — 8 years ago
A delicious bouquet of strawberry, cranberry and watermelon with just a touch of rose petal. Juicy, crisp and incredibly elegant on the palate. Delightful flavors of raspberry and strawberry lead to juicy acidity a touch of minerality and citrus zest. The finish is long with clean acidity and touch more red fruit. — 9 years ago
Seriously underrated. This is a nice example of what a Merlot CAN be. Much like what became the "Anything But Chardonnay" movement, Merlot was relegated to much the same caste. Open this, let it breathe, and you will be pleasantly surprised. — 9 years ago
This Sangiovese is a fairly dark wine which smells of cherries, plums and blackberries with a mineral-driven overlay and some sweet oak spice. The palate has plenty of fruit, too, as well as a savory aspect that lingers on the finish. The tannins are firm - pair it with meat dishes or sauces and aged cheeses. — 4 years ago

V2013 really loved it! $40 btl at vineyard. Velvety, with a smooth finish. Good now or hold for 5-8 yrs. pair with mushroom risotto or braised pork belly ❤️ — 9 years ago

A friend of a friend of my wife asked me try to try this new production Pinot they are making. This is produced & bottled by Pellegrini Bros but is a new Pinot called P:4. Sour mid red fruits, raspberry candy and red florals on the nose. The palate is candied, ripe, juicy; black raspberries, black cherries, strawberries, cherries, cola, soft subtle sweet spices, cinnamon, just a hint of vanilla, limestone, soft crushed brown volcanic minerals, red fresh florals, nice acidity, good mouth presence, good balance and long shinny fruit finish. Drinks well very young. Surpassing my initial expectations. A wine to acquire and a wine to pay close attention going forward. $65 from the winery. It's a crossroads of CA Pinot & Burgundian style with a dominating CA side. 13.8% on the alcohol which is fairly reasonable in today's CA wine environment. — 8 years ago
