Plavac Mali, reportedly the Croatian equivalent of zinfandel... nonetheless, easy-drinking and earthy and downright lovely. — 7 years ago
Slightly (nicely) funky, dried apricot, sweet hay, butterscotch, petrol; gunpowder and smoke entry, very high acid, lemony. — 8 years ago
Slovenian wine was an unknown to me but something I will strive to remedy after trying this. Complex and beautiful. — 8 years ago

Drank a number of glasses at D'vino wine bar, Dubrovnik Croatia. Great place. Dingac is a delicious wine, specific grape/appellation combo. Haven't had a bad one yet. :-) — 9 years ago
Interesting wine from Croatia. Came from Corti Bros. — 10 years ago
Croatian Dingac Barrique (oak barrels) superb wine. Bought in Dubrovnik. — 10 years ago
Warm, strong and full of berryjam taste. Just as I remember it from a wine-tasting a couple of years ago in Dubrovnik. Also a significant aging. — 7 years ago

The Dignac is one wine not to pass up, very rare wine with a unique taste. A long finish with a subtle licorice taste. A real gem from Croatia! — 8 years ago
This is the body is like Pinot. But with Zinfandel flavors. Super juicy. Maraschino cherries. Rich fruity. Salty. Ashy. Lots of coastal influence. For its price it's wonderful. Nice light but plenty of complex notes. — 9 years ago
Blind tasting I would mistake this for pn. It's low tannin but has a good acidity to it. The fruit is there but elegant with some old world earthy walked down into my basement funk — 9 years ago
Totally dig this firmly structured, broodingly mineral, moderately grained tannin wines with revitalizing acidity. Blackberries, black plums, fireplace cinders. Very cool! — 9 years ago
If any red describes this part of the world, it's Dingač. Da bomb IMHO. — 10 years ago
Just a taste but wow that is tasty. Juicy without the jam and very nice mouth feel. — 10 years ago

Inky tint, aroma of goat cheese, rich and complex. Smooth finish, dark berry, earthy but not mushroom. Ends with watermelon jolly rancher. — 7 years ago
