This is an excellent light bodied Pinot Noir. Bought it after a tasting at the winery in PEC a few years ago. Bright, fresh strawberries upfront with some darker berries and light herbs/spice at the back and surprising depth. Like his chards, Norman Hardie is the best Ontario has to offer IMHO. They stand up to many old world offerings (yes burgundy purists, it is true); unfortunately at notably higher price points, which are a bit hard to swallow (sorry, bad pun). Nice treat! — 7 years ago
Soooo wish this was less expensive. Picked some up at the winery in PEC a couple of years ago after tasting. Decided it was time to give one a go. Lovely straw colour with bits of vanilla with the apple and pear and some chalkey minerals. An excellent wine. The cuvée of Niagara and PEC grapes also very good, but also a wee bit dear in terms of price.. Want to support ON wines, but the Scotsman in me puckers up at the prices relative to wines produced further afield. Love this guy's offerings though. — 8 years ago
Tasted 2014 vintage Sept 2016. Wonderful bright acidity, medium body, orange blossom, stone fruit, hint of citrus, with a spectacular aroma of caramel corn on the nose. @jonsteeves rated 90/100. #pec — 9 years ago

Sparkling red from PEC -- hint of cherry, dry finish — 7 years ago
Treat from a wine excursion to PEC 2013. A delicious Pinot Noir "Noble Rot" dessert or apertif wine. 2 days ago when opened it had an effervescent on tongue a bit distracting but apricot marmalade flavour came through. Revisted the remaining half bottle tonight and "tingle" was faded in mouth. This allowed us to truly enjoy with warm smoked garganzola and guyere shortbread cookies. Truffle notes really cameout on backend - well worth the wait! — 8 years ago
Amazing Ontario Riesling from PEC. — 10 years ago
2011 Vintage - Great wine this was a wonderful surprise from PEC. I knew this region was well known for great Pinot Noirs ...but I should have known the area's Chardonnay could blow me away also. Balanced with Fresh pear, butter curds and finishes with a tart-ness of lemon that cleanses palate. — 10 years ago

Everything you want from a PEC Chardonnay. — 8 years ago
Just over a year ago we visited the winery in PEC. Truly worth the visit to understand and appreciate the work behind this wine. As described by others light taste in front. Cherry twizzler that builds in spice of terrior as it opens and tannins grip the mouth feel. The nose delivers cranberry transistioning to sweeter pomogranate. The appearance is light burgundy in colour perfectly clear. — 9 years ago
Big whiff of black walnut off the top. One of our PEC faves. — 9 years ago
