Drank 7/3/18. Excellent pairing with shrimp in a butter and garlic sauce.
Nose of apple and pears, backed by some earthy elements. On the palate a medium to full mouthfeel yields flavors of green apple and pear backed by some subtle minerality and lemon curd. The flavors last on the finish for around 45 seconds. Very nice. If there is such thing as value in Burgundy, this is it. Enjoyed this more than the last time I drank it, though both were good experiences.

Notes of dusty mulberries and blackberries - also olive. A beautiful balancing act of 60%Cabernet Sauvignon and 31%Merlot and 9% Shiraz. Very different to the 1996 Moss Wood had recently because of the Merlot in the blend. Good density and concentration. A class act. — 7 years ago
Nose is linear and soft. Lime, beer foam, chalk, apple blossom. Palate is juicy, broad, mouth-filling with loads of golden apple, lime, rocks, and underripe melon. Zippy. — 8 years ago
This guy still needs another couple years to age. And when you open it wouldn't hurt to decant. But it's got good legs for aging, which kinda makes me wish I had bought more than one. Or waited longer. Thick as you might want in a red and rife with cassis, dried bay leaf, vanilla and maybe violets. Strong tannins. Yeah...I thought it would be okay to have this 2010 now but it could use a year or so. Or it may just be an overpowering cab. I mean it is tasty but pretty overpowering! Right now. — 8 years ago
Towards the end of drinkable life. Pleasantly surprised by how much fruit was left. Great texture. — 9 years ago
Ripper of a wine, deep complexity needs 20 years! — 9 years ago
Love this wine. Good combination of Bordeaux best red grapes. It comes from Australia. Big rich and lively. If you can find this producer and this wine buy it — 9 years ago
Good experience - the tannins melted away, taste of tobacco, leather. Nose forest floor and mushrooms — 6 years ago
Always going to be the highlight of the Wynns tasting and only made in years where the fruit quality and vintage conditions were exceptional. Sue Hodder said everything fell into place in 2015 and she made one of her best ever Riddochs. From less than 1% of Wynns available Cabernet fruit. Latent power on nose and palate with black fruits and balanced oak. At least a 30 year future but so balanced you could happily drink this now but one should wait at least 10 years for its charms to start showing through. A brilliant 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. — 6 years ago
Lead to believe that the 14' is going to be relatively hard to live up to but this is pretty damn enjoyable regardless. The thick, oily texture here could be possibly confused as potential barrel work, especially served warm, but don't let that fool you. Wet stones, chlorine, green apple and white peach aromas. The palate has a gob-tonne of green apple but despite that oily texture there's plenty of acidity here too — 7 years ago
Gorgeous Coonawarra, rich and luscious with slight hint of spice and nice tannin structure followed by decent dark fruits. — 8 years ago
Elegant, smooth, flavoursome. Puts a quiet smile on your dial. — 8 years ago
I had the 2010 vintage... It was delicious. It needs some air (give or take 30 min) to get rid of a slight musty smell but even immediately after pouring it tastes amazingly balanced! Very round cab sav with tastes of blackberries and cassis and even some cheeky but very welcomed hint of soil. Perfect combination for my lamb. Will definitely try it again! — 9 years ago
The nose missleads one with a slight oxidative hint and aromas of cider, fowl and quince, but the palate is fresh and primary with excellent acidity, rich yet soft fruit and a long finish of peach, strawberry and macadamia. — 9 years ago
Tasted in 2016: Medium pale straw color. Pronounced ripe apple notes combined with honeyed melons, calcareous clay, and hints of vanilla. Divine finish that lingers. — 6 years ago
Juicy red berries, eucalyptus, intense floral notes. Super funky, but yet so balanced. Playful. Like butterfies in your belly, it’s like a crazy romance. One of the best I drank in 2017! — 6 years ago
Very pretty and consistent with the house style. I will say that I did not find it particularly Grand Cru. Never developed much length or complexity, though I can at least say it didn't feel manipulated and was a pure expression of Chablis. But 2014, I hoped for more? — 7 years ago
Initial flavours - Blackberry, spice, mint, pencil shavings with a hint of chocolate. Decanted and left to breathe for a good couple of hours. BBQ'd some scotch fillet steaks and whacko, what a feast. The wine had mellowed significantly and blackberry flavours came to the fore over the spice and tannins. Cracking experience. Savoured every last drop. — 7 years ago
Crisp and apple tones perfect with a seafood board — 8 years ago
One of the most interesting cabs ever not over extracted like some Napa cabs it unique I tasted the coonwarra terrior multiple times lacked tannins — 8 years ago
Nose layered with savoury herb. Nice ripe fruit, grippy tannin and an underlying savoury complexity. These few years have done a lot of good for its drinkability — 9 years ago

This a blockbuster Chablis, massive, multi-layered, nose still very closed. Offers a lot of potential too early to judge. — 6 years ago
