Desvignes likes a submerged cap and employs a grid with varying times and % of cluster depending on product.
N:Inky black, smashed strawberries, some coal tar, herbs, endlessly developing.Smoke & meat. echoed on the palate.
P:Light and dense at the same time, grippy. Blackberries, bright, nice acidity.
I bet w patience, this would round out nicely, crunchy now.All the dark berries.
The little brother of Les Impenitents.
Quality like this from Morgon always makes spring a bit better.

Beautiful example of classic Chablis! Fresh, clean and lively. Complex aromas and flavors of apple, lemon and mineral. Hints of cilantro and grapefruit. Long and elegant finish. Excellent! Reasonably priced too.

The 2016 Givry Clos Charlé 1er Cru offers candied red fruit on the nose with just a hint of vanilla. The palate begins with some lovely redcurrant and cranberry fruit, fleshy and almost nubile with wonderful balance. Vivid and armed with great clarity, this is a really quite superb Givry from Eric Desvignes. (Neal Martin, Vinous, July 2018)
