Uncomparable to anything I've drank before. Very savory and saline. Almost like drinking sea water. Acidity is medium. Not much on the citrus side but there are some almond notes. Interesting. — 7 years ago

Delightful vinsanto from Santorini. Robust and well done. Dark color and strong caramel notes. Much more sweetness than acidity. — 8 years ago
Citrus, floral with a bitter almond aspect. Crisp and refreshing — 9 years ago
Medium gold color. Nose of wax, brown sugar, flowers. On the palate there is not much acidity, flavors of oxidized apples, exotic fruit, flowers, wax, and butter. Shows some evolution but in the same time great depth. A wine to pair with a meal instead of taking it by itself? Very good (89)
Made of Assyrtiko and aged 6 months in stainless tanks. Alcohol level of 14,5% — 9 years ago
Dessert wine that looks rich but is quite light and refreshing. Great for heavy desserts — 10 years ago
Oaky tangy tart. Very nice. Honeyed roundness up front but the acidity slices right through leaving a bit of minerality at the end. — 5 years ago
Our last Santorini wine.
Really liked it. From interesting new vineyard. — 6 years ago

Less acidic than many assyrtikos with nice lemon zang - perfect for a summer afternoon in Greece — 5 years ago
Light, crisp and perfect for a hot day. — 6 years ago
My first experience with Aidini. Complex little grape. The wine was straw yellow and a tad hazy. A bit of sweetness like a Viognier but combined with the crisp saltiness of an Assyrtiko. I liked it. — 6 years ago
Absolutely incredible. A beautiful golden colour. Many layers! — 7 years ago
Learning new thangs: mushroom, smoke, bright, salt, texture. Abv 15%!!! And wildly balanced. We were poured entry level '15 from same producer n thought 'wow tropical Mom wine w/ punishingly long finish' — 8 years ago
Delicious brightness but with a real center of juicey apple & melon - smoky goodness too — 9 years ago
Great funky native Greek grape — 9 years ago
Domainr Sigalas wines should need no intro even to Greek wine novices - fantastic examples of #santorini #assyrtiko — 10 years ago

In addition to the great old-vine and oxidative elements, we still enjoyed a fairly bracing Santorini assyriko acidity and even volcanic minerallity. Bought at the winery. — 4 years ago
