Wrong wine! This is 1986 Robert Mondavi Reserve Cabernet. A favorite bottle from memory lane ... A gift from the Robert Mondavi Winery etched with the cover of my French Paradox book on one side and on the other side, the label. All signed by Robert, Michael and Tim ... This was in the early 1990s, back when the wine industry actually cared about wine & health and the winery was still producing world-class wines. We opened this last year and it was AWESOMENESS vinified! — 10 years ago
A paradox...nose reminds me of an Upstate NY Riesling w/soft pear, honeydew and peach blossoms. BUT...its dry. Crisp apple, fresh cut grass with moderate minerality and low residual sugar. Delicious. — 10 years ago
Yowza once again!! Super dry, but so ripe, full and fleshy today.. #paradox #tastedataltitude — 10 years ago

Such a delightful paradox; fruity, easy slippery flavours underpinned w classic Sangiovese tannins, med weight, even long finish. Such a deceptive and satisfying wine. Yum! — 10 years ago
The first two bottles are beautiful champagnes. The KRUG is a paradox in its self. Great stuff — 11 years ago
