Paradise Peak

Blankiet Estate

Paradise Hills Vineyard Merlot 2002

Deep purple color drove anticipation. Excellent start with a interesting nose which was not as bold as expected. However, I appreciated the fruit which was presented. The texture as you drink still remains delicate, yet pleasing. Plum and cherry with soft tannins. A finish that doesn't disappoint which invites you back. Good at $85 if you can find it. Over $125 would be pushing it in my opinion. — 10 years ago

As soon as I write a blog post about why I'm not the biggest fan of Napa Cab I start finding a few I love. Coincidence? I think not. — 11 years ago
