Very nice Pinot. Winemaker's Dad made moonshine in Tennessee. Only makes small lots of his wine. — 10 years ago
Very light nose for cinnamon whiskey. Probably the best cinnamon whiskey/shine I've had. Not too sweet, very smooth and flavorful. Nice spice level, too. — 10 years ago

Out there. Like, really far. But also so incredibly interesting, in a difficult-to-describe way. Smells like sour cherry kirsch moonshine, thyme and bay leaf, some kind of polish, and intensely floral. Initial VA chills out to intense perfumey florals, forest and wet rock. — 7 years ago
Big, bold cherry. Very similar to Martinelli moonshine Pinot. Well balanced, rich fruit, still young. — 8 years ago

Smooth and sweet, Stillhouse Peach Tea Moonshine is heavy peach, right in your face from the get-go. From the nose, to the taste, to the finish, you get peaches. The black tea notes are more subdued; present, but nowhere near as prevalent as the peach. And somehow this Peach Tea, with its lower alcohol content, comes across as hotter than the "Original" style. There's a nice mellow heat present as the hooch makes its away across your palate. — 10 years ago

So...I'm going to be fair about this wine. It's from Alabama. The weather doesn't agree with grape agricultural in Alabama. If you like a Muscadine grape them enjoy some Alabama wine. Maybe drink some moonshine when you're down south as well. Nevertheless, people that enjoy resiling and sweet reds will actually like Alabama wine. I give this a high score because I'm a southern belle and can only be kind when speaking of the south. It's wonderful to try...like any and all wine. — 10 years ago

Killer bees on attack! Palmetto honey and creamy tangerine! Boiled peanuts and toasted brittle foreshadow the palate of ultra-creamy chocolate pudding pie on a smoked wooden plank soaked in vanilla and bourbon.depth for leagues, finish for miles! This one has a good amount of age on it. Just perfect. Stinger. — 10 years ago
