Floral aroma followed by stone fruit. Medium palate with well balanced acidity. Palate of apples, peaches and tropical fruit. Finished buttery but far from oaky. Very good white wine for the price coming from the region where Port is King. — 2 years ago
Authentic, old-school, old-world aromas, no new oak to curb its energy. Chewy tannins, it could only be from the Douro. The fruit is little simple and shallow, just short of being excellent, but its honesty and modesty make it more appealing than many of the more ambitious/pretentious Douro reds. — 6 years ago

Enjoyed a remarkable meal at the Pacheca vineyards. 10 months in French Oak. This red blend had a suitably tannic edge against well balanced fruit. Buy it if you can find it. — 7 months ago

Oaky, rich, and full bodied. Brought out the roasted flavors of a short rib dish nicely. — 3 months ago
