I’m so torn on this wine, my first from Kutch. I was lured by a Gordon’s offer calling it Kutch-Dury, so you can imagine the curiosity. It was rich, complex, long, and pure, with no oak or sweetness. Fruit and earth only. And yet…it’s also heavy. On day 2, I could only drink one sip, although I didn’t have the right food on hand. Not as good as the bottle we had 2 years ago. All of the great lemon peel and minerality and texture and acid are still there - but this is oddly lacking on the mid palate, so you get a nice entry and exit but not a lot of meat in the middle. — 9 months ago

Lovely yellow hue opens up a powerful nose filled with dirt, grass, rice, and honeysuckle. The palate proceeds to get smothered with a perfect amount of oak coupled with honey and lemon. A mildly tart finish makes this the perfect summer white.
