This is a really great wine- and I think it can go further- curious to see how my other bottles condition to 2019. This producer is amazing and their property and vines are incredible! All they produc is 199% enjoyable- this particular vintage and reserve is exceptional - deep ruby color- strong fruit and nice wood on it from - but ultimately it’s the bottle conditioning that has done the most service on this wine. I opened in September 2017- the wine was fantastic and th cork crumbled upon opening. The wines have been cellared in constant conditions- and I still think this wine can go to 2019- I’ll recap- but all in all a really class wine that shows uniqueness! — 9 years ago
Um dos melhores Chianti Classico que tomei. Decantei por uma hora e veio uma explosão de aromas. Ameixas pretas, cassis, grafite, e os tostados. Muita boa acidez, taninos macios e longa persistência. Poderia esperar mais dois anos. — 9 years ago
Alcohol is a little out of balance, but otherwise a fantastic 2010 Zin that's drinking great right now. Used the Kelvin to keep it at 59F which took the edge off the alcohol and allowed its true profile to shine. — 9 years ago
Portuguese wine tasting at D'Canter. Smell: more ripe fruit than dry fruit; cherry, black plum. Big fruit, higher alcohol, fresher and younger. Don't need to age it as much higher, easy to drink on its own. Very nice w the rosemary cheese. Nice and light. — 10 years ago

Roast kernels of scallops, butternut and glasswort, beard sauce flavored with tangerine. Smoked fillet of Lozère lamb with Le Puy green lentils, carrots, lamb sausage and condiments.
