16% abv. Blend of 35% Syrah 65% Zin. Beautiful. Slightly past prime or prime! Glad it was opened now. — 9 months ago
Exceptional on opening. Nose of dark berries and spice. Palate with complex of spiciness, juiciness, black cherry, blueberry, blackberry, & plum. Balanced low intensity tannins with lingering finish. — 2 years ago

Consistently very good. Approachable on opening with flavor and complexity similar to prior years but overall smoother this vintage. — 10 months ago
Bright floral nose. Spicy tingle and mouthwatering acidity with dark fruit, fig, blackberries on the palate. Autumn bark with moderate lingering tannins on the finish. Extremely well balanced yet bold throughout the experience. My favorite MDO Syrah vintage to date. — 3 years ago
Another delightful year of their Meritage style blend. This year it’s made of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Lovely nose with complex fruit and spice flavors, mouth watering acidity, and smoothness throughout with just enough tannins for a pop and a pleasant lingering finish. — 5 years ago
Delicious prosecco. Great value. Wine & cheese cask. $9.99 — 5 years ago
Delicious with grilled ribeye. Fresh but rich berries aromas. Dusty in the mouth. Elegant tannin. Acidity is so nice in this wine to be paired with fatty ribeye. Juicy int a bit sweet ever so slightly in the back. Layered and complex. — 8 years ago

Every year the pop and pour drinkability of this blend gets better! This year the blend is 60% Mourvedere 25% Grenache and 15% Syrah. My appreciation for the less common primary grape varietals has escalated by Monte de Oro’s wise blending and aging techniques. The nose is slightly shy. The palate is a pleasantly unique balanced combination of fruit and earthy components - with a touch of lingering spice. A near perfect balance of juicy acidity and soft tannins that makes this approachable for most. — 8 months ago
Better and more complex than prior years. Amber color. Floral notes. Juicy acidity and somewhat dry. Grapefruit and mineral dominant on opening but after 30 min balanced with pear, honeydew, grapefruit, and slightly Chardonnay-like buttery oak softness. — 2 years ago
Full bodied, and rich — 4 years ago
— 6 years ago

Wonderful nose. Velvety on the palate with a nice finish. Not a big Pinot Noir person, but this is great. Enjoying it with fish and shrimp at Roy’s in Maui. — 7 months ago
