Very nice aromas of dark cherry and dried herbs. Dark cherry and cola flavors with a hint of vanilla. Old World organics on the finish. — 8 years ago
This wine is incredible! Soft and smooth as silk. Herbal and violet aromas. Red cherry fruit with hints of chocolate and tobacco. Outstanding balance between fruit and organics. 14.4% alcohol but not overwhelming in the least. Thanks to Kieth Soltis for opening this bottle. — 8 years ago

Bought a 2015 bottle - inexpensive and FUN-KY! Overwhelming nose of earthiness and even stinky cheese rind..! I kept wavering between borderline grossed out and loving it, which makes me LOVE it. — 9 years ago
Lots of organics and earthiness on the nose. Leather, tar, minerals and dark cherry on the pallet. Light color and body with mild tannins. Might be a bit past its prime but still quite drinkable and pleasant. — 9 years ago
Really fun, light fruity organics — 10 years ago
Very nice red blend from the Veneto. Corvina grape with a touch of Cab Sauv and Merlot! Flavors of Dark Cherries and Caramel with a hint of organics like a wet Forrest floor. Good summer red as it can handle a little bit of a chill. Great sipper!! — 10 years ago
Decanting now, inky purple, smokey smelling Pinot...very exited. Notes forthcoming...
Nose of mashed black cherry, earthy soil rich with organics but biased towards crushed granite and early spring burning of pruned vines.
Palate is sweet/tart black cherry liquor, wet granite dust, blackberry juice and a very long finish.
I've not experienced a wine that fits the profile of 'Red Riesling' until tonight, and this is certainly the most apt description for the play of fruit to mineral in this glass. Amazingly nimble in all aspects, wow.
We will finish this bottle tomorrow, so notes will be updated.
92hr Update: Nose of intense vine bark and still that cherry liquor. Palate is a little shut down today, cherry, acidity and mineral dust components persist. I appreciated this bottle more on night one. — 8 years ago

One of our favorite organics, and affordably priced to boot. — 8 years ago
Wow!! Beautiful old world organics on the nose. Delicate cherry on the pallet. Smooth and balanced. An example of where time can positively enhance a wine!! Should have decanted this one prior to pouring. This wine is just a bit past its peak, but still beautiful! Thanks to Kasey for this great bottle. — 9 years ago
Beautiful combination of aromas and flavors. Flowers and rose petals on the nose. Cherries and organics on the pallet. Excellent balance and lower alcohol. Great food wine. — 10 years ago

Lots of plumy fruit flavors. Hints of cola and tobacco. A bit young but quite good for the price point. A little astringent alcohol on the finish, but bottle age should smooth that out. Excellent value for a CDP. Revisited in February 2020. As predicted, the astringency has mellowed out. Wine comes out of the bottle very fruit forward, but the organics come to the surface in short order. Thank you Keith S. — 8 years ago
This has more smoke than vanilla (the description in the bottle). A big surprise, long lingering aftertaste. Just beautiful. — 9 years ago
Beautiful dark fruits and earthy organics on the nose. Dark Cherry, coffee and earth on the pallet. Lovely balance and mild tannins. A bit high in alcohol, so make sure this one gets some air — 9 years ago
Really nice Spanish blend from the Ribera del Duero region of Spain. 80/20 Tempranillo/Cab Sauv. Earthy and leathery organics on the nose with nice fruit on the pallet. Well constructed wine. Could age a bit longer. Revisited in January 2021. Still quite good. Organics and oak are dominating the fruit but tannins are very soft and the finish is quite velvety. Body and color seem a little light (considering their is some Cabernet Sauvignon blended with the Tempranillo). Give this one a good decant before drinking. — 10 years ago
Great organics and mouth feel that softens as it opens up. — 10 years ago

Excellent balance of fruit and organics. Ripe cherry and dried herbs on the nose. Cherry, Mushroom, mint, rosemary with a touch of licorice and cocoa on the pallet. Smooth tannins after a short wake up aeration. Well made! — 7 years ago
