T'n'S Blocks Hudson Vineyard South Syrah 2014

One of two bottles I have; a beauty! Deep, lush, floral, bacon, iron, currant; huge tannic structure but approachable and delicious now. Popped in anticipation of our upcoming visit and tasting at Bedrock Vineyard. — 8 years ago

Nervo Ranch Heritage Alexander Valley Red Blend 2013

Neevo Ranch Heritage! I like to have fun when discussing wine but this is a clinic in a botle. All aspects the so called MS's of the world discuss are exemplified in this one bottle. Maybe i got lucky but find this wine, this vintage and experience for yourslef what all those gushers bable about. Amazing. — 10 years ago

In my option one of the premier liquors in the world. I smells horribly but once you are used to it's unusual taste you can't let go. Very special.

Citrine California Chardonnay 2016

Chablis on Steroids! And sold out at the website! Pretty good acid so I do not agree with another reviewer on this one. More Mandarin than Pear. Even a lovely touch of bitter. Low%. A great wine 😎. Should have bought more! An artist at work. — 8 years ago

Like this one. Residual yeast and honey suckle. Bright but not overly so. Much better alternative to sparkling rosé for a warm summer day — 9 years ago

Ode to Lulu California Old Vine Rosé Blend 2017

It’s rosé season in spirit in Chicago. This is a great one. Nice balance of the acid you expect with lush fruit off the old Mourvèdre vines. Wish I had more bottles for actual warm weather. — 8 years ago

Lorenzo's Heritage Dry Creek Valley Red Blend 2015

From a vineyard tended by the zinfamous Teldeschi family. This one is a little more Zin heavy than some of the other heritage blends, but the usual mixed black suspects are also included. It's still burly at this very young stage and needs extended hours of decanting. Black fruit, smokey, bramble, and spice but still tight with racy acidity. This will improve greatly with age, give them at least 5 more yrs. — 9 years ago

Sometimes it feels like we've forgotten more than we've learned in this business. It's hard to beat a white blend, yet they are rarer than hen's teeth. This one is a field blend, even rarer, and it works beautifully, almost like someone planned it... — 11 years ago

Steve- your comments always seem to articulate my thoughts before I sort them out & this one really hits it. I had the Carlisle version of this a couple weeks ago & it bent my brain. Not just because it was good with dinner, but made me sip really slowly trying to get my head around it. I cannot wait to get this one with my Bedrock order this fall. Thanks for the notes.

Just opened it. Not too impressed; lean for sure, and too one-note for my taste, with a really short finish. I'll stick with single barrel Elijah Craig or Weller 107 at the same price point.
