This is my first taste of Braucol - the gritty unfiltered version. It’s inky from sediment but relatively lean like the last few sips of muddy french pressed coffee. It bounces back and forth between gravel, jet black soil, and bright red sour berries. Astringent sour notes of red cherries, pre-ripe blueberries, and wild blackberries. Interesting mix of components but not quite the depth and harmony of Plageoles Ondenc. — 4 years ago

A beautiful field blend sweet white. Apples and pears, tart but also sweet canned fruit, maraschino cherries, calvados, a very slight oxidative note reminding me of Vin Santo, and a minerality that leads to a little complexity in the finish that's really delightful. — 8 years ago

Unassumingly awesome. My first try at Ondenc - all girth and power. Shadows of powerful white Rioja. It has a slight golden color with notes of peach nectar, white flowers, popcorn, and spiced oak. Power to the people. — 4 years ago

Kyoho grapes on the nose. Sweet smelling and extremely fragrant. Thankfully the sweetness doesn’t transfer on the palate. Juicy and fresh. Slightly bitter finish. Lovely with pork. — 6 years ago
