Archetypal Bordeaux - old world in style, but where the savory characteristics are well-integrated with common Bordeaux fruit notes. Well-structured and precise, with notes of blackberry, cassis, tobacco, cedar, and vanilla with a long, somewhat chalky finish. — 5 years ago

Unruly. Pepper, spices and a whole lotta lively fruit. — 8 years ago
Spiced apple and pear dominate the palate upfront with a hint of white peach. Leading into that irresistible minerallity you often get from Loire Valley whites. Lively acidity on the finish keeps you coming back for more!!!! — 9 years ago

2022 vintage. The website didn't update for the 2022 vintage yet, but according to Jeff Leve (the Wine Cellar Insider often has more recent info than the official websites), it is a blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Sémillon. In any case, it is a beauty. Pineapple and white peach go hand in hand with floral and mineral aromas. It has a very round mouthfeel, but very fresh at the same time. Probably the finest value in Pessac-Léognan white Cru Classés these days. — 9 months ago
The balance of mineral undertone with pops of apricot was $$. Would have let it breathe a bit longer but can’t complain overly — 3 years ago
2020 spring / summer. Really nice - I hadn’t had any de Moor in a while but this was at least as good as I remembered. Honeyed and savory, lots of chalky minerals — 5 years ago
Gamay deliciousness! Strawberry, raspberry and iron. Great gamey, bloody character. Throwing some sediment. — 6 years ago
Funky yet light and fruity. — 8 years ago

1997 old vine Chablis - Lemon meringue pie, with some yellow apple. Less minerality than I expected but shows on the finish. Potentially starting to approach it's peak at this age. — 9 years ago
Really impressive! Intensity. Density. Length. Yum. — 10 years ago

Yum - dirty in a great way, nice complexity and balance. — 9 years ago
Give this one a little time. But it may be THE (or one of certainly) benchmark wines for the appellation. — 10 years ago
Yum. Saint Bris at age 5 (2009 vintage) and it's superb. Long, elegant, lemons, piercing. Their wines never disappoint. — 11 years ago
