Archetypal Bordeaux - old world in style, but where the savory characteristics are well-integrated with common Bordeaux fruit notes. Well-structured and precise, with notes of blackberry, cassis, tobacco, cedar, and vanilla with a long, somewhat chalky finish. — 5 years ago
This is an excellent modern-day entry level Cabernet Franc. Dazzlingly simple, yet awash with refreshing weight, dark fruit, Chinese spices, and a subtle dollop of black/green tea. If you are looking for something less obvious go back to red Burgundy. (This red straddles old world structure with new world gloss. I fear gloss will eventually win out. But for now...👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾) — 6 years ago

1997 old vine Chablis - Lemon meringue pie, with some yellow apple. Less minerality than I expected but shows on the finish. Potentially starting to approach it's peak at this age. — 9 years ago
Really impressive! Intensity. Density. Length. Yum. — 10 years ago

2020 spring / summer. Really nice - I hadn’t had any de Moor in a while but this was at least as good as I remembered. Honeyed and savory, lots of chalky minerals — 5 years ago
Smooth and velvety.Outstanding feel and long finish. Fruit and earthy flavors. Great stuff. — 7 years ago

Funky yet light and fruity. — 7 years ago
Spiced apple and pear dominate the palate upfront with a hint of white peach. Leading into that irresistible minerallity you often get from Loire Valley whites. Lively acidity on the finish keeps you coming back for more!!!! — 9 years ago
The wine needs air. Nice pairing of grapes, gamay offering enough fruit to cohabitate with pineau d'aunis rusticity. — 10 years ago

Deliciously flinty and vibrant — 7 years ago
Lemon, flowers, seashells on the nose. Beautiful palate of lemons, lime, a touch of oak/bread, honey, salinity, lingers for many minutes. Drinking very well with an hour or so of air. — 7 years ago

2013 vintage. In the cellars in Meursault with Bertrand Boisset. Difficult to tell the colour in the cellar light. Great, refined nose - oak is evident but not overwhelming, nutty and citrus fruits. Tight and too young to drink right now. Fabulous tension and high acidity, medium light body, medium alcohol and medium plus concentration and length. Mineral notes on the mid palate. Complex and intellectual. Drink 2020-2036+ — 9 years ago
Très beau saint Joseph bien typé et encore jeune ! — 11 years ago

2022 vintage. The website didn't update for the 2022 vintage yet, but according to Jeff Leve (the Wine Cellar Insider often has more recent info than the official websites), it is a blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Sémillon. In any case, it is a beauty. Pineapple and white peach go hand in hand with floral and mineral aromas. It has a very round mouthfeel, but very fresh at the same time. Probably the finest value in Pessac-Léognan white Cru Classés these days. — 7 months ago
