Want to try this on tap; bottled is delicious. First whiff after pour has a green, bracing freshness (pine?) that burns off as it sits for a few minutes, so savor that first sip! Citrus and apricots, great mouthwatering acidity. You'll keep sipping. For Founders, a clean and more minimalist beer. Nice change-up from them! — 9 years ago
Graceful DIPA at 9.3%. Awesome grill beer. A bit scary too. Especially after a few. — 10 years ago
Beer the way way beer should be- FUN — 10 years ago

New re release of a beer to go to Japan Earthquake relieve, all profits, very nice and interesting beer, Japanese S hops, big herbal and lemon grass, hop forward with nice malt balance, high AVB, number to equal the earthquake impact scale, overall, real nice, not anything Great, but for a good cause and worth tasting — 11 years ago
After some years enjoying beer, it is still one of all time favorite Red IPA's big hops, Caramel malt, citrus and pine, excellent beer, years ago when this style came out, I really did like anything called "Red Ale" this is the one that changed it all for me, this is a perfect example of what a red ale should taste like, or really a double red IPA, but that is what I love about it, mixes and balances the two style together and creates a new and now popular style, Green Flash was the first and still the best at this, one of the best, there a now a few others that are just as good and better, but not by much, I give extra points because Green Flash made this style first and great from the start, back in 2004 or 2005, I think it was, Great Great beer — 11 years ago

A polished mahogany bust of the female Tom Green, washed with milk, and set on the mantle of a fireplace filled with bubbles. — 9 years ago
So funky on the nose with notes of green strawberries, grass, and very sexy. Thank you David 💃🏾 we decanted this baby and fell drunk in love. I can't imagine how this beer will be in 25-30 years. Only 500 bottles came to the US, we have 5 of them!!! Meowmeowmeow! — 9 years ago
Green apples. Lindemans ftw — 10 years ago
Warning!!! This beer lives up to its name, new 2015 release, 150 IBU's , 9.5% ABV, this is only for real hop heads, big Columbus and Centennial Hops, little, and I mean little tropical fruit, what you really taste is a insane about of bitterness, like sucking on a grapefruit, tea and herbal notes as well, as for me I Love it, but I am a hop head, rating this beer in the style, and of course the name, this will wreck your pallet, make this the last beer after others if you are session beers, Great Beer — 11 years ago

Beer o’clock — 11 years ago
Yes it's beer. Barleywine-style ale from a brewery actually on an Oregon Beach. This is the best barleywine in existence, from my experiences. Big Milk chocolate, cardamom, caramel, butterscotch and sweet whiskey notes, asparagus, (slight) green pepper. One of the most stunning beers you will ever experience. — 12 years ago

Surprisingly good. Great grill beer. — 9 years ago
This is the real beer, from Alpine, not Green Flash, picked up at the brewery, much better, not as good as their Nelson, but very good — 9 years ago
I always forget how good Green Flash beer can be. — 10 years ago
Well balance between fruit, wood and acidity. At 12.5 % alcohol. Aromas of ripe cherry, red currants, tobacco, licorice with earthy and smoky notes. On the palate, dark fruit, root beer, cranberry, fresh mushrooms and a touch of mineral and smoked meat. Had it with roasted pork with Romaine salad and pan seared salmon with a side green salad and pesto dressing. — 10 years ago
Smells like calvados, or Poire William, with sourdough bread, but the palate is all Sherry. This is absolutely the sour beer of wine! Right on Chardonnay! You look fantastic wearing only green olive, briny and bright with lemonesque flora and watercress. But oh so much yeasty flor more! Never had anything quite like this! — 11 years ago
Don't get put off by the plain label. Small head. Orange in color. Cloudy. Nice aromas. Flowery and orange. A little bitter, at first, but also in aftertaste. While light in alcohol, stay in mouth for a long time. Some grapefruit. Complex. Gets dryer as you drink it. Cedar: on the aftertaste, just after drinking it. Interesting beer to try, not to have every day. — 11 years ago
Light but flavorful. Great beer. — 11 years ago
2012 Nikolaihof 'Hefeabzug' Gruener Veltliner, Wachau, Austria. Very delicate and transparent. Haven't tried a Gruener which is quite like it. Yeast derived notes of lager style beer, fresh sencha tea leaves...high pitched pepperiness, very fresh and transparent, great with anything where is little cooking involved and all about produce. Seafood + green garden vegetables + herbs...great wine from a great biodynamic producer!! — 11 years ago

The first beer I had from green flash combines Belgian trippel and American IPA. Great stuff — 12 years ago

Smells like sweaty prosciutto and soppressata with warm orange pith and tangelo zest, tastes like super ripe grapefruits and green herbs with hints of malty beer. Refreshing to the lips but like fuzzy sweaters for your gut. Very fall. — 9 years ago
