Surprisingly austere with no trace of the leesy, nutty, or brioche character mentioned for other vintages. Still quite good but maybe a touch sharp. Better for those seeking razor acid, noticeable minerality, and more citrusy notes. — 8 years ago
Broad, waxy honeysuckle and melon. Acidity has mellowed a lot. Interesting to taste side-by-side with the razor sharp '14 AOC Chablis. Very different wines. — 9 years ago
Blanc de Blancs, no dose, l'Eclapart. Wine geek trifecta. Nose is a symphony, wet earth, mineral, salty, tree bark? Fascinating aromas. Palate is dry, forceful, yeasty and tangy. Long and intense. Concentrated and intense.
Day 2 Update - Yeasty somewhat broad and mineral nose. Some brioche as well. Nice. Palate is razor sharp with terrific precision and minerality. Really lovey delineation of flavors. Great. Delicate and complex yet forcefully dry. Incredible. — 9 years ago

Thanks for joining me for steak & claret @Gregory Condes! This bottle was on the lean side, but I prefer them thinner rather than fatter. The aromatics were fully developed, generous and pure Margaux; earthy, cassis like perfume! Best of all it cut the ribeyes like a razor! — 10 years ago
Absolute bliss. Razor sharp acidity of crisp golden apples. A bright & brilliant example of the vintage. The mold on the cork was a red flag but this Riesling is Devine! — 10 years ago
A very subtle but well balanced Syrah with a special mid pallet — 11 years ago
Really nice combo of Nero D'Avola and Montepulciano. Mellow and juicy — 8 years ago
Very viscous. Almost oily but balanced by razor sharp acidity. Full weight of vintage. Lime, wet grass, guava, rocky element. Qg. — 8 years ago
This Albariño pours up pretty in the glass - yellow-gold and a touch of bubbles. The bubbly sensation doesn't last too long, but it's festive while it’s there. The nose brings some citrus - of course - and a smattering of stone fruit and ripe apples. In the mouth, the magic really begins. The acidity is razor-sharp and a complete delight. The bottle should come with a dozen oysters. Flavors of apples and Meyer lemons grace the palate and you simply don't run out of minerals. There's a lot to like here, and it lasts long beyond the sip. — 9 years ago
This 2013 W block Bien Nacido is razor sharp and Burg-like and I hope I try it again with some age..... Thanks Justin! — 9 years ago
Beautifull, tension and razor sharp, pico scores the perfect hat-trick — 10 years ago
Razor sharp. Pure and detailed. Beautiful stuff — 10 years ago
Beautiful organic offering. This 2007 grows and grows in the glass! Wet cocoa powder, black olive, and blackest cherry notes run along a smooth topography of smooth black stones with an interlaced manzanilla sherry mesh.water-like mouthfeel thickens as if from becoming awash inside your mouth. Refined tannins against a razor smooth gessoed backdrop with black olive that drops a graphic line around the texture, pushing it upwards toward the thrilling olive and artichoke in finest olive oil ending, which laser-lines into a still tight finish. — 10 years ago
Razor focused Chard. Enough weight to balance the acidity. Love this producer ! — 11 years ago
Oz. for oz. one of the best Rosé champagnes for the 💰. The fruits just a touch tart. Black cherries, black raspberries, raspberries, strawberries, tangerine and baguette. The fine yet grippy chalkiness & minerality cuts razor sharp across the palate. The acidity is brilliant and the perfectly rich finish is so delicious. My go to Rosé champagne! Loving it. — 8 years ago
Razor sharp. Love me some northern Italian Riesling and this doesn't disappoint. Evolved on the second day as well! — 9 years ago
Minerals! Razor sharp lemony edge, pebbles, honey and butter. I just love a good Chablis. — 9 years ago
Very fine mouse and razor sharp finish.

Mmm so good. On par with the 12. Razor sharp acidity. — 10 years ago
Razor sharp. Lime and minerals and extremely aromatic. Chuggable and food friendly. One of two decent German Rieslings available in wine stores in Iceland, unfortunately. Damn good! — 10 years ago
A divine "steak" wine... razor sharp acid cut through my NY Strip better than a knife — 10 years ago

Fell in love. Exploding of minerality, razor sharp acidity. Aromas of white peaches, gooseberries. Lots of primary fruits.
Dry, a little overweight in alcohol. Quite fat texture. Semi-aromatic. — 8 years ago
