This wine ages very well. Definitely time to open it if you have it. Decanted for 3 hours and it was very smooth. — 9 years ago
The most-est, wonderful-est screw-top red ever! Deep purple Shiraz (67%) Cab (33%) olives, raspberries cherries and more! $75 retail. Had for about 2x that (not a bad wine list markup) at the Ritz Carlton at Northstar for 34th wedding anniversary dinner. Awesome dinner, awesome service topped only by dinner companion! — 10 years ago

Nice subtle tropical fruit. — 11 years ago
100% Malbec sourced from their Spring Valley and Northstar Estate vineyards. On the nose ruby fruits of; blackberries, dark cherries, blueberries & black raspberries. Violets, dark chocolate, black licorice, and purple florals. The mouthfeel is round, subtle and has velvety M+ tannins. Blackberries, black plum, black raspberries, dark cherries, dark chocolate, mocha powder, dry stones, crushed rocks, pepper, dry florals, good acidity and a round, rich, long finish. Even better than the 2007!! — 12 years ago
Yup. Still fantastic. Decanted this for a bit and it was worth it. Could still hold this for a bit as it wasn't the smoothest Merlot. Still tasted a little on the young side. — 9 years ago
Big Washington Merlot. Very good — 12 years ago

Nice blend. This has really smoothed out. Tastes more Merlot to me even though its only 46% compared to the 56% Cab. Nice wine. — 8 years ago
