North Park Urban Winery

Wood Park

Kneebones Gap Shiraz 2005

Blackberry and plum, some licorice and dried herbs. Not a bad King Valley Shiraz. Probably has a couple years left in it max. — 10 years ago

Robert Sinskey Vineyards

Los Carneros Pinot Blanc 2010

Out of magnum, 2010, in the park, 80 degrees, life's good. Med acid, soft yellow fruits, slight nuttiness. — 10 years ago

Waccamaw

Proprietary Red 2012

Full bodied red blend. We enjoyed it with our lasagna dinner. High alcohol content! Better after letting it breathe for some time. Bought from Winestore at park west. — 11 years ago

Moana Park

10 Year Old Tawny Port Blend

A wonderful port - too bad it's all gone! — 11 years ago

Mattebella Vineyards

Old World Merlot Blend 2010

This red knocks it out of the park. Best old school, earthy, Italian style red I've had in years. — 11 years ago

Moana Park

Port Blend

Tawny desert wine. Fermented almost to the point of having a whiskey taste — 12 years ago

Edmeades

Mendocino County Zinfandel 2013

$15 at 3-Parks Wine Glenwood Park. — 10 years ago

Arnot-Roberts

North Coast Syrah 2013

Nate Wall
9.4

Vintage after vintage Arnot-Roberts hits it out of the park. Closest thing to Northern Rhône you'll find outside of France, which makes its low $30s price quite the bargain. The 2013 is ready drinking well, but certainly has the acid and structure to last for a decade or more. — 10 years ago

Broc Cellars

Mendocino Counoise

Our second wine from urban winery Broc Cellars in Berkeley. Counoise is an obscure blending grape from the Southern Rhone. A bit of a cypher showing ripe and underripe fruit like tart cranberry and sweet cherry. Sweet soil character with a hint of ancho chile and vanilla. — 10 years ago

Copain

"Les Voisins" Yorkville Highlands Syrah 2012

A truly great bottle of Syrah. @Copain Wines just knocks it out of the park. Balanced & elegant. All the good Syrah descriptors, this has all of those. 2012. — 10 years ago

@Copain Wines - if this is an indicator of your 2012's, I'll be picking up quite a bit more. Beautiful stuff.

Drew Family Cellars
