Light, crisp, clean, and refreshing. Great hot weather wine. — 7 years ago
Best wine here. Dry. A lot of depth. — 7 years ago
Founded in 1969 by two rocket scientists, ZD takes its name not only from its founders, Norman de Leuze and Gino Zepponi, but also from the engineering term Zero Defects. Sleek in its design, but with serious thrust, comparisons could be made to Corison or Montelena Estate, as well as some Left Bank Châteaux. Tart cranberry, cherry, and plum abound with purity, followed by 70% cacao, fresh pine, and damp cedar. Some secondary coconut oil adds a slightly exotic feel to an otherwise old school, savory-styled Napa Cab. Excellent. 93+ — 7 years ago
Lots of oak on the nose right off the bat, but halfway through the bottle this hits it's stride and never looks back. Mind boggling. — 9 years ago
This wine’s 3-song set at the local strip-club for oenophiles:
- "Dragging Me Down” – Inspiral Carpets
- "Tomorrow Never Knows” – The Beatles
- “Blue Orchid” – The White Stripes — 9 years ago
Brought by Norman Adam to Scott’s for a Sunday buffet. Less meaty than another La Liviniere shared at the same meal. Lovely nose with bold fruit. Quite polished and Medoc-like. — 6 years ago
Perfect with raclette as it cuts through the fat cheese and brings acidity to it all. — 6 years ago
I usually don’t drink chards but when I do .... :) thank you @Norman Gennaro — 7 years ago
Young and bright high tone fruit. Acidity a bit over the top in first day. Second day the wine calmed down and showed some beautiful fruit, earth and blackened pepper notes. — 8 years ago
If Canada starts to make good wine, we have not finished drinking...

I like it 'cuz I grew up on Greg Norman Shiraz. And if I'd been his caddy in '96, he'd be masters champion. I get he hits it in the drink on 11 being aggressive. I give him the 9-iron on 12 and say "if you hit this right of the pin, so help me God I drop this bag, quit, and you Carey your own clubs." I then personally line him up at the 11 green, he hits it center, two putts, and puts on the green jacket. — 9 years ago
Bright red fruit flavors with lush tannin. This wine can enjoyed on its own, with friends, on a sunny day. Or with rich duck confit and bbq'd red meats. Can't beat the price. -wine batman — 9 years ago

The only thing I love more than their wine? Their pizza. — 7 years ago
Loved it with Venison back Strap — 7 years ago
Great mineral nose with a rich fruit throughout the palate. Definitely enjoyed this more when it rose in temp from being chilled. Thank you @Norman Gennaro ! — 8 years ago
Not too strong, and it has good flavor. I enjoyed it! — 8 years ago
This is excellent. I'm always leary about trying something new but I have to say this one put a smile on my face with the first sip. Full body with a dark red color. The main thing I smell and taste is cherry. Happy Friday! It's been a long busy week. 🍷😉 — 9 years ago
