Nicholson Jones White Label Cabernet 2012 vintage is a wonderful full bodied wine. Smooth from the first sip with a strong fruit presence. Think Caymus 40th anniversary cabernet on steroids. This was a treasure from a young wine producer with a talent for making really good wines. A ten from start to finish. — 9 years ago
Cool find! This is a fantastic Julien Fayard made wine from Nicholson Jones. The wine has lots of leather both on the nose and palate. The nose gives a nice herb bouquet, but the palate has strong sage and eucalyptus. It ends with a crazy burnt sugar note on the finish. All the while, the fruit shows extremely well. Rated a bit higher for value. Bright, floral with aromas akin to Riesling. Clean, white flowers, peach skin and apple. Bright, bubbly, delicious and priced to slurp. I bought cases. A Kinberly Jones selection. Quite dry. Can't type, slurping! — 10 years ago

Mid fading ruby with a tawny rim. Very Burgundian in appearance and palate. Plummy Earthy aromas with a touch of tan boot polish. With air more floral notes with rose petal. Close planting and site selection has enabled Phillip Jones to craft an incredible Burgundian look alike. I think this is consistently Australias finest Pinot. Not cheap for an Aussie Pinot but cheap compared to Burgundy and I would rate this higher than a few of the Grand Crus I had last Saturday. — 8 years ago
