Schioppettino. Rustic, earthy funkiness. Blackberries, citrus pith, white pepper, brambles. Apparently rare in the US, from Fermented Grapes. — 4 years ago

Fruity well-balanced Italian with strawberry and raspberry flavors and a smoky finish. — 2 years ago
A blend of mostly Nero d'Avola adding some Petit Verdot, Syrah and a few other grapes. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits, sweet notes and spicy scents. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry, currant like, with notes of cacao, licorice and sweet spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine tannins, long finish, ending with fruit, tobacco and sweet earthy character. Very nice! — 2 years ago

Fruitful, low acid and RS, great with a chill and a beautiful homemade pasta. — 6 years ago
Good balanced, good aftertaste of this wine blow you away. Purple color reminds young Saperavi or liquid consistency in the glass, or gouache concentrate.
Small tannins, low acidic, becoming elder would be jam.

Low alcohol content and decent tannins make this wine easy drinking. And not bad for a prelude to something more serious down the road. — 7 years ago

Murky, gritty, volcanic material, heavy on limestone and sour dark berry. Smells like warm smothered cedar between a pair of palms, sour blackberry, and anise. Mouth chock full of chalk and a screeching halt. — 10 months ago
