Thoroughly enjoyed this with our 1-year anniversary dinner at San Fermo — 6 years ago
Smooth like a baby’s bottom. Fruity like a juice box. — 7 years ago
Concrete vessel fermentation. — 8 years ago
Paired well with braised pork chops in mustard gravy and red wine vinegrette salad. Tasty and not overpowering. — 8 years ago
Negroamaro from the heel... Not quite as we remembered it from L'Angolo Divino in Rome, but we were already a few bottles deep at that time. Thanks for bringing this to NYC Jules! — 9 years ago
Full, inky, chewy, soft but strong tannins. Beautiful wine but would be tough to pair with anything but barbecue. Probably best after dinner with cheese, chocolate, dried fruits. — 9 years ago

Great, smooth — 10 years ago
A clear favourite. The Scola Sermenti wines never disappoint me and always is a pleasure to drink. — 5 years ago
Lovely dark and fruity. Great with steak and pork. I love the mixture of the negromaro grape and primitivo grape. — 7 years ago
Jammy, fairly well balanced and long finish. Great value! — 7 years ago
This dark Italian has black cherry and raspberry on the nose, with a solid grounding in soil. Spices and herbs decorate the aroma profile, with allspice and anise predominant. On the palate, it's a bold showing of dark fruit and currant accompanied by a savory, black olive edge. Those savory notes last long into the generous finish. — 7 years ago
Very nice wine. Smooth and easy to drink. No aftertaste and great price around $15 — 8 years ago
Terrific wine, floral, sweet, full bodied and well rounded. Perfect for steak. — 9 years ago
Full body rich taste. Goes very well alone. Long lasting aftertaste. — 9 years ago
Copper common. Really good. Medium body. Medium acidity. — 9 years ago
This is by far the best wine I've ever had. Smooth. Easy drinking OMG love it — 10 years ago
Heady notes of muddled red raspberry, salami and meadow grass. Significant tannins and vanilla edge. Warm finish. — 5 years ago
Blackberries and cherries... lots of fruit up front... Nuge and light, great with food. — 6 years ago
Excellent well balanced. — 7 years ago
On the nose, more concentration in the fruits. Black raspberries, raspberries, cherries, strawberries, watermelon, chewing gum and pink roses & florals. Palate is richer/thicker, more concentrated than the Masseria. Cherries, strawberries, watermelon, raspberries, well done chalkiness...not over done, fine medium intensity volcanic minerals with a rich, round, ripe, beautiful acid finish. Delicious. — 7 years ago
Surprised me as a new addition to the home "don't think twice, pull cork" shelf — 8 years ago
Very good flavour. — 9 years ago
