Very delicious, toasted caramel and rich porter-like flavour. Hard to place what else I'm tasting but this robust ale is unique and a seasonal treat. — 11 years ago

From Saturnalia in the Gulf Islands off Vancouver. Awesome weird combo of chipotle, okra and oysters -- or some kind of hit oepper. Bet you ain't got one ! — 12 years ago
Light in colour, soft in flavour. Ripe plums, red fruit, light drinking every day Pinot. Great value. — 8 years ago

Delicious! The wine was great when accompanied with a burrata salad al fresco at Stanley Park in Vancouver on a perfect summer day. — 9 years ago
Manages to be both a straightforward, fruit driven Pinot and something much more elusive and special at the same time. Chili, chocolate, espresso, cassis, all sorts of red and black fruits. Sourced in Vancouver for not-little money but seems to me quite worth it, definitely one of the top tier Otago wines. — 9 years ago
Superb blend of typicity with regional characteristics. Taste those old vines... One of the best Central Otagos I've tasted, and there have been many. Drinking perfectly now but still plenty of life, no need to rush. Purchased in Vancouver August 2015 for ~$55. — 10 years ago
2009 vintage with Trevor, Norman and Leslie during a visit to Cowichan Bay. — 11 years ago
