Gorgeous CA Sauvignon Blanc - peaches & blossoms on the nose, with a fruity, dry palate and an abrupt, tart finish. Lovvvvve it. — 7 years ago
Very nice acidity. Sweet cherries on the nose and palate. This is a very easy drinker. — 7 years ago
Holding up well. Very smooth and awesome initial blackberry hints, solid finish to access N Y strip steak tonight. — 8 years ago
Very good aperative. — 8 years ago
Nose: rich flavours: red pepper, violets. Great freshness. Red and black fruit (black and red berries), bit of garigue, juniper, time.
Palate: silky and smoothy, although still young style. Good lightness and acidity, red fruit – elegance and finesse of an higher altitude.

A real surprise...a silky smooth, fruity find from Germany. Enjoyed at the German Gymnasium behind St Pancras. — 10 years ago
Happy Halloween (again). Next up 2012 Nickel & Nickel. I chose opening the State Ranch (Yountville) bc it's probably the lightest and most approachable of the '12s from N&N. It's not one of their big Napa cabs: much more subtle. Some nice chocolate and blueberry notes — 10 years ago

Cherry, rose petal, licorice, earth and soft tannin. Medium minus body. Fun stuff with aged duck. — 7 years ago

Beautiful wine! Super intense on the palate at only 11.5% abv! One of the best aussie wineries I've came across! — 9 years ago
Light red. Funk. Leather. Amazing. — 9 years ago
Love these Tempranillo blends. — 10 years ago
A very good Nickel & Nickel, smooth but tastes young. Another 5 years and it's going to be delicious. The 2012 N&Ns are opening very well this year. — 10 years ago
1989. Way too sweet like a sec leads to a heavy back palate n lack of body support. Bit dragging. Drink. — 11 years ago
A wonderful expression of spice, earth, smoke and brush in this medium-bodied, but intensely flavorful wine. Fruit plays a secondary role, with subtle flavors of raspberry and blueberry. — 6 years ago
Another excellent Tobin James everyday wine. Aromas of fruit and berries, inky black, well balanced. Very nice — 7 years ago
Seriously good Chardonnay from an unlikely AVA. The Finger Lakes can be very hit and miss, but sometimes you find gems like this. Restrained and balanced, with a very subtle aroma of pineapples. It has some weight to it, but also firm acidity. There’s probably some oak at play, but it’s very much in the background. And at only 12% ABV you can have a couple glasses, too. — 7 years ago
Thanks @Eric Hoepelman ! Ben geen cognac drinker maar toch van genoten👊 — 8 years ago
Marvelous floral nose, very well balanced. Top notch Pinot — 8 years ago
