Bruno Giacosa

Falletto Barolo Nebbiolo 2004

What a bottle. It evolved over the 2-3 hours it lasted and if I had my way it would have lasted 30 minutes! Opened with more leather tones then a more nutty flavor with light fruit throughout. Very silky but hard to go wrong with giacosa. Easily last another 10-15 years. Great bottle! — 9 years ago

Nemo Vigneto Il Mulino Toscana Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

Sept 2017. Opened this after a lighter, fruited red, made this taste harsh. Definitely decant! That would have helped. When I returned to it a day or 2 later I liked it a lot more. Full bodied Tuscan red. Cabernet Sauvignon. Lots of tannin and lots of body. Top Ten wine of the month, July 2017. — 9 years ago
