Rivery. Dry vanilla on hot fig and black currant compote. Muddy. Gooseberry, blackberry, vacillates between rock freshly lifted from muddy shallows, and a sweet basil note, maybe even a tiny bit of candied mint on cedar. Absolutely effluent and streamlined to the mineral rich finish complete with bay leaf and a wisp of smoked truffle. — 12 years ago
