Mount V just makes lovely Cab Savs! Still had tannin structure for 3-5 additional years of cellaring. — 10 months ago

Very fruity for a cab, for me. Rich deel@berry flavor, light tan in. Would reach for again — 2 years ago
Wow!! Broc has done it again!
2015 Carignan - Beautiful deep ruby red color. Nose reminiscent of a super ripe cherry covered in dirt!
On the palate, dry, upbeat, crunchy acidity, pomegranate, cherry, cherry cola, turns into a crunchy black fruit, some spicy notes🤔. Well integrated *medium* tannins, earthy finish. Dangerously drinkable!
Went soooo well with pepperoni pizza!

Slight scent from the chin, nice deep hearted aroma when brought to the nose. Not super dry but not sweet either. A bit in the middle. Pretty tanny but not so much to leave the mouth super dry. All around a solid choice. — 6 years ago
Heavier pinot than I'm used to, but huge back. Spice. Pretty cool. — 9 years ago

Juicy dark fruit, complimented by black pepper, rich. — 10 months ago
Fruitnforward for a cab. Well balanced, earthy finish. Excellent flavor and drinkability. Punching high above its listed price. — 2 years ago
Schoolbook pinot with warm strawberry and sloeberry fruit. Cranberries on the finish. Some oak and spices on the finish. Simply very enjoyable! — 3 years ago
Fabulous table wine. The Australian version of The Chocolate Block. Affordable too. From Wine Rack in Belsize. — 6 years ago
Dark ruby in color with aromas of black cherry, lavender, cloves, and caramel. Nicely concentrated red fruit and gravelly minerality are evident on the palate with firm acidity and moderate fine grained tannin evident on the finish. Josh Jensen made this from 100 % organically grown Pinot Noir sourced from vines planted in 1975, fermented with native yeasts, then aged 18 months in 30% new French oak. Consumed from a 375 mL bottle, this wine has the fruit and balance to enjoy now and the structure to allow it to go 15 years or more. 14.3% ABV. $88. — 7 years ago
Very enjoyable Christmas Day tipple - a veritable companion to a roast rib of beef. Silky and sublime. — 8 years ago
Excellent blend I had one from Napa many flavors and smooth silky finish. — 9 years ago
Classic California style although not over powering which is a nice change. Good fruit chocolate. Moderate soft tannins. Good finish. — 10 years ago
Aromas of dark cherries and raspberries. Some blackberries among the rich luxurious oak. Superb taste and balance with amazing body and finish. — 11 years ago
Smooth and not very dry, Kye likes it a lot — 7 months ago
2020 vintage. A fave CA chard and producer. Medium-medium heavy body. Tasting slightly more tropical and advanced with less acidity than usual. Still absolutely delicious tho. Would like to retaste and reevaluate in 5-6 months tho. Based on 30 vintages of tasting this particular wine, betting it reconciles any tawdry, fleeting concerns that occupy my compromised palate and right quick. 01.22.25. — 9 months ago
Still good. 2021 @, Dmar, 231008 — 2 years ago
1hr+ decant and could have used more. Dark red color. Interesting nose with metallic, medicinal tones that tingled my nose. Wine has massive strawberry and cassis; and is sweeter than I was expecting. Very concentrated. The tannins reduce with ample air and the spicy aspects dissipate with time as well making it more approachable. Medium finish. — 5 years ago

Balanced and light. Very good. — 7 years ago
This was our second bottle. First was uninspiring and despite the 97pt RP rating, found it to be disappointing. The trick is to let it breathe for at least an hour to let the flavors develop. It is no Opus One but very satisfying with a juicy steak or just plain enjoyment! — 8 years ago
Very tasty — 10 years ago
So yummy. I acquired at my most recent Napa visit. Medium bodied fruity cab. — 10 years ago

This is my favorite Zinfindel blend from Ridge. I like it/them more with 8-10 years of bottle age. But this 2023 drank very well young. One of the best current releases I’ve had in a while. Fresh as it was very recently bottled! 93+ in time.
Sirloin Steak was tip top.
Pebble Beach Food & Wine 2025.
The ticket to this event has a pretty big price tag. But when you consider what a Napa etc. tasting or two and lunch would cost you, you are pretty much there and there is so much more than that. It ends up having great value. It’s wine, spirits and food candy land. — 6 months ago
