2017 vintage. Surprisingly good and lacking any of the oxidation that sadly plagues whites from this part of the globe. Chamomile and orchard fruits on the nose, also on the palate. Perfectly ripe pear, yellow and green apples, white nectarine, lime flesh, a little mineral phenolic bitterness, dandelion and chamomile flower, nondescript light herbal note. — 4 years ago

Not bad for breakfast wine (on holiday, don’t judge 😁)very drinkable and starter wine for the day. — 6 years ago
What a surprisingly good wine! On nose dark berries and some floral aromas, on palate ripe cherries, almost you could eat them. Fruit bomb rather similar to good Nappa CSs. I just love it! — 6 years ago
Another first encounter from the half case haul at SLC State Liquor Store near Costco. Funky and forest notes with firm palate and good texture and finish. — 2 years ago
Like a more minerally vermentino. Not sweet but fruit present and balanced by food friendly acid. Smooth overall, no sharp edges but not flabby. — 3 years ago
I believe this may be the finest Trnjak in the neighborhood. Possibly even edging out Nuic and Teuta. Very nice medium bodied red. For the price point - it’s a big winner — 4 years ago
Probably the best blatina I‘ve tried so far. A masterpiece made of blatina grapes. Oaked for two years, dark ruby colour, black fruits with intense vanilla flavour, concentrated, dense, powerful, masculine, but still rather balanced. Very long aftertaste. — 5 years ago

MATIC - Da Capo is an excellent red wine of “blatina” autochtonic varietal. Rich, peppery, but pleasant. Medium lasting aftertaste. — 6 years ago
Wow! A really really decent red blend. Velvety and smooth and at an amazing price point. Bosnia-Herzegovina has a bright future if this is an indicator of where it’s going. Highly recommend. — 6 years ago

Interesting varietal that is indigenous to Bosnia-Herzegovina. Dark garnet color. Lovely aromas and flavors of raspberry, cherry, plums, and currants with notes of herbs, vanilla, cloves and cinnamon. The pallet is especially loaded with fruit. Full bodied and bold, but there is also elegance. The combination of herbal and baking spice notes make this a very unique wine. Perfectly balanced. Still a baby but so easy to drink. Who knew? Revisited in July 2023. Still excellent! — a year ago
