The color is a pale orange red, kind of coppery. Beautiful. smells like tart fruit - blood orange and strawberry - but also detecting earthiness, maybe rocks, salt. Texture is light but poppy. Tastes like bright fruit, acid, ash and salt. This is special. The hype is real. — 7 years ago

Crowd pleaser, too! Smelling it, I think of buckthorn. My friends thought of tamarind, though. I like that. My third bottle. What a fun drink! :-) By the way, store cool and in upright position. Lay it down and the cork might be pushed out. Or worse: friends had one bottle explode all over their (room temp) pantry. The store replaced their bottle, saying the know about the problem. Their display bottle has the cork pushed out about 2mm. On one of my bottles, I saw dried-up drips on the outside of the wax seal. So the store now told me to store it upright and cool.Doesn't seem like something you should store for longer than a few months. Who needs tertiary aromas with something that funky anyways!? — 9 years ago

Hugely tropical on the nose - pineapple, canned peaches, grapefruit - but with lovely notes of white flowers and minerals underneath. Despite all the fruit this white is wonderfully dry and crisp, while still displaying the characteristics that made the nose so enjoyable. — 10 years ago
