I finally tried this one. A little creamier than the Wente Morning Fog. — 11 years ago

Sad that this delicious wine will be Burt Williams' last... 2009 Morning Dew Ranch, Jan's Cuvée Pinot Noir — 12 years ago
Moss and bramble on the nose. Gives the mental image of morning dew and spring foliage. In the mouth, tart acidity drives this wine with a pleasant herbaceous finish. — 11 years ago
Good balance between acidity, tannins and fruit. Fields in morning dew, with hints of crush fallen acorns and pepper in the nose. Pepper, blackberries and willow reed flavors. — 11 years ago
Crisp, tart, grassy/leafy roundness, like morning dew in early Fall. — 11 years ago
Lemon cream, green apple, honey dew melon with some toasty clove spice, fresh, mineral, acidic cut, juicy, peachy lingering finish. Just emerging into adulthood. — 11 years ago
Tonight I am going back to one of my favorite areas for Pinot Noir, the Willamette Valley. This is the first time trying the Adelsheim Winery though I have heard great things about them. On the nose we get strong fruit forward aromas of strawberry, cherry, raspberry and a moist morning dew soil. The red fruit continues through to the palate. The strawberry & raspberry continue though a bit on the light side. There is a smooth mouth feel with a nice acidity and minerality notes. The acidity helps in the length of this Pinot which I truly like. — 11 years ago

Beautiful morning at this beautiful old vineyard. Planted in 1849. Really enjoyed the aromatics + meatiness of this wine. — 11 years ago
