Had the 2009 vintage in July 2019 in Kairon with family for birthday celebration. Excellent. — 6 years ago
Minerals initially segueing into light fruit. Fun. — 7 years ago
Low alcohol content and decent tannins make this wine easy drinking. And not bad for a prelude to something more serious down the road. — 8 years ago
Roses and cedar with a bit of cranberry. Love Vietti! — 9 years ago

The first magnum was corked! But the second is a piece of work! Great balance showing classic tar and roses, with elegance.

Light raspberry on the nose. Ripe strawberry palette. Tasty and amazing value for this blend! — 6 years ago
Gorgeous nose. Chestnut, tar, leather, roses, old books, classic Nebbiolo. Palate has sweet sweet cherry fruit and nice density with terrific high acid and structure. Needs an hour to get going. Really intense 2010 structure but thrilling fruit. — 7 years ago
Delicious grower champagne. Great recommendation from @Sarah O'Kelley — 8 years ago
Bottle variance! Last one was bit maderized but this one was showing much better. Soft mature ripe fruit of peaches, compote and bread yeast toast. Enjoyed it. — 8 years ago
Out of the gate it was quite rough and undefined, but within 30 minutes opened to a sweet nose of orange, roses, sweet red cherries and strawberries. With flashes of something sweet and green like fried sage. On the palate the tannins are approachable and the acid is searing but integrated. The flavor is more subtle than the aromas and it develops in the glass quite quickly. Moderate finish. But what's there while it's there is quite amazing! Went great with and was improved by a simple dinner of skin-on chicken breast and tomato-sautéed broccoli. — 9 years ago
Wonderful! Tar and roses for real. — 10 years ago
GSM + Cinsaut..... Nice blend. — 11 years ago
One of the smoothest, most flavorful whiskies I have tried. — 5 years ago
Tasted blind. Reddish tawny color. Edges suggest its old. Notes of strawberry, raspberry, iron, roses. Some zing and power in the nose. Slaps your face when tasted. Sappy. Powerful impact. Long finish. Other guesses were in Burgundy land eg Griotte but I went with 90 Rayas. Bingo. — 6 years ago
Lush and fruity. — 7 years ago
Dried cherries and roses, hazelnuts, and tobacco. Slightly austere on the palate with sharp acidity and dry tannin. Acid is dominate. Better with food - paired with coffee cherry rubbed beef tenderloin. 13.5% ABV is noticeable as this is on the lighter, more elegant side, no heat. This effort improved with a little air may need a little more time to come together. — 8 years ago
Vanilla, brown sugar, lemon curd, a little simple, more heat on the finish than I would like. — 8 years ago
2001 vintage. Medium garnet. Quite fresh fruit forward raspberry and red plums. Roses and heavy oil fumes. Touches of smoke and woody notes. On the palate, very smooth, silky. Medium bodied. Medium plus acidity, high tannins - very integrated and mouth puckering. Finish is edging to long - fruit forward and cherry liqueur notes. Very decent and drinking well. Would personally keep for another 5+ years before opening as this is still evolving nicely. Still lacks soul - a little too manufactured for my palate. — 10 years ago

Exquisite. Balanced. Floral notes and balanced with white and pale yellow fruits. Enjoy alone or with food. Just so elegant. — 5 years ago
