Light on the palate with ample acidity. Surprising to have a PX grape made into this style (for me anyway). — 8 years ago
Pale brown thick color; sweet as heck, and almost chewy texture but amazing flavours and aromas of honey, almonds and choclate. Low alcohol and acid but delicate and fine. Nice experience. — 8 years ago
5-Oh Bday Dinner... Brownish color with yellow in the rims. Like motor oil in a glass. Huge intense nose with brown sugar, old raisins and spice. Coated the palate and was impactful with its 17% + alcohol level. Great wine w our cheese course. An interesting 65 wine to finish off a 50th bday party. — 9 years ago

Fino style PX from Montilla-Moriles. Nice example here but dominant nose of Parmesan rind and cheese cloth aroma, with some pork crackling, preserved lemon, mossy mineralogy and blanched nuts. Palate is pretty typically and shows decent length. — 7 years ago
Tangy, almond skin, and just the right amount of oxidization. Loads of complexity and such crazy value. Sherry truly is the best — 8 years ago

Clear, medium tawny intensity, noticeable legs
Nose is clean and developed with obvious oxidative character, aromas of caramel, brown sugar, and orange peel.
The palate is off dry, with medium- acidity, high alcohol, and a full body. Flavor intensity medium+ with a complex array of caramel, leather, licorice, roasted oranges, and ginger. The finish is long with a slight l tang from the salty but mostly savory-sweet finish.
