Have to agree with the others here unbeleavable value classic cedar box low alcohol Bordeaux for very little money. Therefore high rating. — 10 years ago
Nice bouquet. Lots of sediment but classic St. Emilion. — 11 years ago
$7 at trader joes. Very nice, good value, requires decanting — 11 years ago
Inky violet red. Green pepper is less prominent and the body is juicier and fruitier than other cheap Bordeaux I've had. Oak age defines this: the tannins are big but silked out considerably, and the aroma and finish are decidedly that pruney oak deal. Part of me likes the sharp raw green pepper thing, but this is much more drinkable. This is a buy-again winner. — 10 years ago
Much lighter than I had expected. Awesome aromas; garrigue, camphor, capsicum, tobacco, black tea, leather. The palate is complex, giving off different flavors with each sip. Bright cherry, mushrooms, dusty earth, briar berry, green pepper, charcoal. Finishes with smoke and a nice touch of white pepper. Beautifully complex. All the elegance of a fully mature St. Emilion. — 10 years ago

Really nice wine but maybe a little past its prime. Nice nose, well integrated, delicious! — 10 years ago
